Database Engineer

SRI Tech Solutions Inc., an IT Consulting, Staffing, and Development Firm based in Tampa, FL, is currently seeking qualified individuals for Multiple positions of Database Engineer. Join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the world of software development.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Oracle database versions on Solaris and Linux platforms.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as applying patches and updates, monitoring system health, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Design and implement database recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Take logical backups using Export/Import utilities for data migration and restoration.
• Utilize various performance tuning tools and reports, such as Statpack, Explain Plan, AWR (Automatic Workload Repository), ADDM (Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor), and ASH (Active Session History).
• Perform maintenance and upgrade activities on Production, Test, and Development EBS R12 environments.
• Monitor database and application performance using appropriate tools and reports.
• Perform space monitoring and capacity planning to ensure adequate resources for future growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 60 months of experience.
• Salary offered ranges between $121,576.00 to $123,000.00/year.
• Travel and relocation to various client locations throughout the United States may be required.
