Data Engineer

SRI Tech Solutions Inc., an IT Consulting, Staffing, and Development Firm based in Tampa, FL, is currently seeking qualified individuals for Multiple positions of Data Engineer. Join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the world of software development.

Responsibilities:

• Developing a comprehensive backup and recovery plan tailored to the organization’s needs, while ensuring that backup/restore/recovery processes are automated, efficient, and reliable.
• Implementing specialized backup and recovery solutions to accommodate large data volumes.
• Writing shell scripts, installing, configuring, and upgrading databases in Unix, with a focus on ensuring database security and performance.
• Managing databases, executing data integration tasks, and facilitating seamless data processing and analysis using TOAD, Putty, FileZilla, DVO, Erwin tool, and Clearcase.
• Performing database development activities across multiple databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and DB2, using a wide range of tools and techniques.
• Collaborating with ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) teams to address data issues and manage monthly data purges effectively.
• Working closely with system and storage administrators to gather and analyze performance statistics, fine-tuning the database server for optimal performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 60 months of experience.
• Competitive Salary ranges between $121,576.00 to $123,000.00/year.
• Travel and relocation to various client locations throughout the United States may be required.
