About the Role

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Network Technicians to support data center operations and network infrastructure projects across multiple locations in the USA. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational networking knowledge, data center experience, and an interest in fiber optic technologies. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware, fiber optic cabling, and data center equipment while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount, install, and organize server racks and network equipment within data center environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain patch panels and structured cabling systems.
• Support fiber optic cabling, connectivity, and hardware installations.
• Install grounding systems for racks, equipment, and network cabling as required.
• Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber optic connections.
• Terminate simplex and duplex fiber jumper cords following industry standards.
• Install and support LC, SC, ST, FC, FDDI, SMA, and MPO/MTP connectors for both single-mode and multi-mode fiber networks.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, cabling, and fiber-related issues.
• Manage support tickets and ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of network devices, cables, and related equipment.
• Follow data center operational procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support infrastructure deployments and upgrades.

Required Technical Skills

• 0-2 years’ Experience required.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure and operations.
• Knowledge of fiber optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with structured cabling and patch panel management.
• Familiarity with single-mode and multi-mode fiber technologies.
• Knowledge of network hardware installation and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including routing and switching.
• Experience with ticket management systems and inventory tracking.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and safely use ladders.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and data center environments.
• Ability to distinguish cable colors accurately for fiber and network installations.
• Ability to read small labels, cable identifiers, and technical documentation.
• Ability to recognize audible signals and alerts such as dial tones and equipment alarms.
• Capable of lifting, moving, and installing network equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a data center environment.
• Cisco CCNA certification preferred.
• Cisco CCNP certification is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
