Job Title: Consulting Sales Manager
Work Timings: 6 PM IST to 3 AM IST
We seek an experienced Consulting Sales Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the sales process and ensuring that the consulting firm’s services are effectively marketed and sold to clients. Your role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing the sales team, and collaborating with other departments to drive business growth.
- Create and implement sales strategies aligned with the consulting firm’s goals and objectives. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of competitors.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their performance. Set sales targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business. Identify new clients and engage in business development activities to expand the firm’s client base.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to prepare compelling proposals tailored to clients’ needs. Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure profitable deals.
- Analyze sales data, track key performance indicators, and generate reports for senior management. Use insights to refine sales strategies and improve overall sales efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the business environment. Apply market knowledge to drive sales initiatives effectively.
- Work closely with the consulting team, marketing department, and other internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
- Forecast sales revenues and prepare budgets based on market trends and business projections. Ensure sales activities remain within allocated budget limits.
- Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing the firm’s consulting capabilities and demonstrating how they can address clients’ needs and challenges.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and sales techniques. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance sales processes and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years Experience in Staffing, sales management, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, and support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, conveying complex information effectively.
- Proficiency in negotiation techniques to secure profitable deals with clients and persuade them to choose the consulting firm’s services.
- The ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales strategies.
- Strong relationship management skills to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, fostering trust and ensuring repeat business.
- A solid understanding of the consulting industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
