The Cyber Security Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity solutions to protect our digital assets. This role involves analyzing security risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust cyber security solutions to safeguard our digital assets.
• Analyze and assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents, and respond proactively.
• Design and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded in all aspects of our technology.
• Stay current with evolving cyber threats and industry best practices to maintain a secure environment.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches with appropriate remediation.
• Conduct security audits and testing, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
• Communicate security issues and solutions clearly and effectively to team members and management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically the minimum educational requirement.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are highly regarded in the field.
• Proficiency in operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies is essential.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or C/C++ can be an asset.
• Cyber Security Developers must possess strong risk assessment skills and the ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security software and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols, is a must.
• Effective problem-solving abilities are crucial for addressing security issues.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for explaining complex security concepts and collaborating with diverse teams.
• Analytical thinking is important for identifying vulnerabilities and responding to security incidents.
• Staying updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices is vital in this rapidly evolving field.
