Job Title: IT Help Desk
Duration: Full Time
Timings : 6:00PM IST – 3:00AM IST
Shift: Night Shift
The IT Help Desk Specialist is responsible for providing timely and effective technical support to internal users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining a seamless IT environment. This role involves excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and collaboration within the IT team to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Provide first-level technical support to clients, both remotely and in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Respond to client inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including operating systems and applications.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and client interactions for reference and training purposes.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure that all IT support requests are logged and tracked for reporting and analysis.
- Assist in maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with a variety of operating systems and software applications.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
